The Ancon MBT Coupler, also known as a
repair/remedial coupler, connects rebar without requiring end preparation or
rotation. It supports bars with two serrated saddles and is easy to install,
achieving failure loads over 108% of the yield strength of grade 500
reinforcing bar. Installation is complete when the bolts are tightened to a
specific torque and their heads are sheared off.
