"Ditec DAB205 is an electromechanical actuator for opening and closing swing doors.
The Ditec DAB205 operating device has been tested up to 1,000,000 cycles. It conforms to European Standard EN16005, has received SP SITAC certification for installation with fire doors. It can also be used on escape routes on doors fitted with panic bars.
It is a powerful, high-performing operating device, with an eye-catching design, capable of driving doors up to 400 Kg. Thanks to various operation modes (Power Assist, Low Energy, Push&Go), it is suited to all public and commercial settings, including hospitals and airports.
The Power Assist function uses a small amount of power from the motor to assist manual opening of the door. The Low Energy function reduces the impact of the wing to below the limits laid down by European Standard EN16005. The Push&Go function activates automatic opening of the door with a gentle push of the wing.
The safety of those passing through doors motorised with Ditec DAB205 is ensured by the option of connecting self-testing sensors, installed on the wing.
Opening of the door is powered by motor, while closing relies on a spring mechanism (adjustable tension) with servo-assisted motor.
Easily configured: the operating device settings are controlled by easy-access trimmers and dip-switches. The first time it is used, the electronic panel sets itself on the first of the 16 settings already stored; afterwards it is possible to select the one most suitable for the needs of the user. Further modifications can be made later.
The start-up procedure can be simplified by using the self-learning feature, via the special key on the control panel
The possibility of powering the automation system with variable voltage between 100 V and 240 V without having to use any additional accessories is further confirmation of the adaptability of this operating device and its suitability for any context around the world.
A specific cable can be used to connect and synchronise the two automation systems simply, for use on double swing doors.
An external LED which can be installed on the cover relays information regarding the status of the operating device. This can also be installed on fire doors to give clear warnings regarding fire alarms.
Ditec DAB205 is composed of a solid base plate for fastening and supporting the components and an elegant protective cover and closing with extruded aluminium profiles and metal lateral heads painted grey.
Inside the operating device, firmly fastened to the plate, are the various components: the electronic panel, the functions of which can be implemented through the use of additional optional cards, and the powerful gear motor complete with encoder. Batteries can also be installed, as an optional, for complete integration.
An extension for the cover is also available which is used, for purely aesthetic purposes, to connect two Ditec DAB205s installed on double swing wings.
By selecting the correct handling arm from the two available, the Ditec DAB205 adapts perfectly to any type of wing:
• jointed arm in steel for push-opening wing (ideal for fire doors)
• jointed arm in steel for pull-opening wing (ideal for fire doors)
Additional settings for the electronic panel are available in addition to those already described:
• Separate speed adjustment for opening and closing.
• Closure force adjustment: makes it possible to increase the closing force in the case of doors installed in windy areas or when the door separates areas of differing air pressure.
• Automatic closing time adjustment.
Additional features can be managed with the supplementary anti-tampering safety card:
• Step-by-step opening with key selector
• Emergency closing for fire doors
• When there is an electro-mechanical lock present, with the door closed, after the opening command has been given, a closing push is given to guarantee the complete release of the electro-mechanical lock.
• At the end of the closing manoeuvre, the operating device can be set to increase the force/speed of the wing to ensure that the electro-mechanical lock is fully inserted.
Additional features can be managed with the supplementary accident-prevention safety card:
• Connection of the internal and external safety sensors which, if they detect an obstacle, block movement during opening and reverse movement during closing.
• Ignore safety sensors during opening: adjustable between 45° and 90°. Ignore safety devices installed on the wing during opening, so that the wall is not detected.
• Possibility of connecting an external device that provides automation system status (door open or door closed).
A knob or key function selector can be combined with the operating device.
